Country Trail Radio Show welcomes Pam MacBeth

Country Trail with Albert de Vries

Albert de Vries of the “Country Trail” radio show on Radio NOF in Dokkum (The Netherlands) invited Pam MacBeth not once but twice to do live performances for a live studio audience of country music lovers.

With a lot of planning it finally happened. December 2006 Pam took up the invitation and journeyed from Nashville, Tennessee to the city of Dokkum (northern part of The Netherlands) with her acoustic guitar where she played during Albert’s de Vries popular show “Country Trail” accompanied by Rogier Ooievaar.

Pam and Rogier performed some of the songs from her CD’s Cowgirl State Of Mind and Forever One Day At A Time in a special acoustic setting and in between songs she talked about her music career. The studio crowd was warm and enthusiastic and the radio listeners seemed to enjoy it as well. During the radio show Pam promised to come back to Dokkum and introduce her new CD A Part Of Me, which was being finished in Nashville at the time.

Needless to say she kept her promise and in May 2007 she could be heard on Country Trail again. Since Country Trail had moved to a new and bigger studio they asked Pam to bring a full band. Although she reached a little late (due to traffic jams) she was received by patient, warm and enthusiastic country music lovers in the studio. After sorting out the sound her performance was successful and Pam brought the house down with her new songs. Pam had some new music friends with her, the band “Blues Affair” backed her up and the show also included a performance from singer Hepie Koelstra.

Pam would like to say a big THANK YOU to Albert de Vries , his show “Country Trail” and his listeners…. they are true friends of Pam MacBeth!!!
